Your responsibility as the driver |
- As the driver of the vehicle it is your responsibility to keep the vehicle roadworthy, in good condition and compliant with all Land Transport Safety Authority regulations.
- You must report all accidents or damage to the Police immediately.
- It is advisable that you are aware of your company motor vehicle policy with regards to who may drive your vehicle and where it may be driven.
- Be aware of your company's insurance restrictions such as driver age and relationship to you as the vehicle custodian.
- All fines and vehicle infringements (such as parking and speeding) are the driver's responsibility unless your company vehicle policy stipulates otherwise.
